Jesus answered and said to her, βWhoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.β John 4 [Spiritual water]
The Lord created nature on the Earth, His beautiful space in the heavens, and revealed some of His personal, literal and spiritual attributes: water, wind, fire, light, love, life and power:
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12
Elements of nature along with many other supernatural elements, including the term "spiritual" and the usage of metaphors and symbolism in certain Bible passages referenced... is the creation the Lord God designed, and established.
In contrast, elements of nature... counterfeit occults may worship the creation β for example, in Wicca, Witchcraft, and the New Age Movement. Worshipping the creation is just another deception, from man's heart and from Satan. Some people may call everything god, for example, a tree or rock, which, in doing so, is misguided and idolatry.
The term spiritual (spiritualis in Latin) does have various definitions and meanings for many people: religious affiliations and practices that leave a void in the person's soul long-term and are indeed a counterfeit from Satan to authentic spirituality.
Instead of the conformity of the world, the word spiritual for a Christian is defined in biblical terms as faith and conformity in Jesus Christ affecting the human spirit and eternal soul of a person. A spiritual person is someone who has heard the Good News of the gospel, believed it, and received the promised Spirit by faith in Christ.
Additionally, the term spiritual refers to the relationship between God and man through Jesus as Mediator. His Holy Spirit presence indwells a genuine believer and a supernaturally transformed life through obedience and to continue surrendering to His will.
How do you know if you're a genuine believer in Jesus Christ?
Some characteristics are: acknowledge you are a sinner and in need of the savior Jesus Christ the God-man. A personal and deep loving relationship with Jesus Christ. Seeking to live according to His will, plan, purpose, and teachings. Demonstrate forgiveness and love for others and confess your sins.
Essentially, applying the principles of the Bible to you in your daily life and producing the results of your faith and salvation in the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Ultimately, a genuine believer is between you and Jesus Christ as the Judge, whether you enter heaven or not. However, you individually, hopefully, will know your love and position of your heart (soul) in alignment with the Word of God.
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:14
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22
Some of these Bible verses listed on this page below are obviously mentioning aspects of astronomy and science as well. There are people that may distort and believe only what science offers and continue to deny the evidence of the Creator and Jesus Christ β He is the maker of the universe and designer of the material objects we enjoy in astronomy. God made science possible.
For example, it's the Lord's non-physical symbolism and literal spiritual water, food, light, and everlasting life detailed in the Bible. When we say nature, there is the creation of nature and its elements; then, more importantly, it's the Divine essence, nature and attributes of God.
